Damn!
I bought a CD recorder and it just refuses to work! This mans another trip to the Best Buy, clearly a misnomer where fancy electronic gizmos are concerned. Is it too much for me to wish for the ability to simply insert two compatible pieces of media in the same machine and get a copy made? Can it be this hard? I guess I'm spoiled. As a youth I had a totally bad ass boom box with a duel cassette deck and high speed dubing built right in. Fool, I had some mad mix tapes. I used to bring the boom box with me on Quick Recall away matches. I sat in the back of the bus with the other ten or so nerds with my box and a cassette carry case holding sixty tapes. Mostly rap and they might be giants. Ice T and the Disney afternoon soundtrack. Don't act like you don't know the second verse of the gummy bears theme, cause you do!! But now things are just like a crazy circus where children are trampled by elephants and I can't find my parents and all the clowns are bleeding from the ears because someone killed the music. Damn. Why lordy why.
