Mace Windu---Sith Lord
I just saw the Incredibles!!! Everyone needs to see this movie and from the looks of it, everyone is going to.
Episode 3 trailer. The trailer looked good, but so did the trailer to episode 1 so I feel I am in good geek company when I say I am hedging my bet. Vader on the frankenstein table was a bit much for me, but I love me some Vader so whatever.
This is the meat of my post here. Since episode 2 I have been preaching to all of my pals that Mace Windu is in fact an evil Sith Lord. Now hear me out. There are three key moments in the film where his evil nature is hinted at.
1. After the failed assination attempt on Padme, she and her weary crew enter Senator Palpatine's office to be greeted by all in attendance except for Mr. Windu. He is shown with a stoic look of contemplation and perhaps even disappointment when she enters the room and he is the only one who does not initially turn to greet her.
2. Anakin, in a blind rage, begins to slaughter Tuscan raiders. Meanwhile, Yoda is in deep meditation with the force and he is able to hear the spirit of Qui Gon begging Anakin to stop the senseless violence. As Mace Windu enters Yoda's meditation chamber, Yoda's link with the force is severed. Coincidence? There is no such thing!
3. Mace kills Jango Fett. Jango is most likely the only person, besides a few high ranking Kameno officers who knows the identity of the mysterious "Sifodeous" who ordered the production of the clone army some years ago. Jango is the wild card who may have held the key to the nature of the great conspiracy in the senate and the trade federation. His death ties up loose ends for the dark side. Would a true pure Jedi have so brutally killed another living thing without any hesitation? Why did he stay his blade from Count Doku? Could Mace be the mysterious "Sifedious"?
Anyway I hope I'm right on this. It could restore some of my faith in Lucas. Mace sure looks mean in the preview. We shall see.
