Best Valentine Ever
So there you have it. My first real Valentines Day. To say that we have overwhelmed one another with affection would not be incorrect. I was happier yesterday than I can ever recall. Yes everything is all new, yes it's just the beginning of the relationship, yes, I know, the real work of making a lasting emotional commitment to another person still lies ahead, but... This girl is remarkable. I am privileged to have her as a part of my life. I love you Anne.

I've been using my elliptical trainer fairly regularly this week and it feels great. I've gone back and dug up some of my old videotapes to watch while I work out. Marilyn Manson and Guided By Voices. I'm always so inspired by both of these groups, especially GBV. That is the magic of art. Absolutely nothing but dreams and ideas that become tangible things forcing themselves into reality. Music, great words, pictures. Hopefully I will find a great outlet for this new creative fury soon. Things look promising actually, a possible regular gig for the yum yum's again!! Soon Skills will have his studio up and running then its time to record, record, record!!! RAAAA! Man trek was so slow today! Anyway still had a few good humans on the scene. Making lists of things to do. Refer to previous posts for further lists.
So, the girl is great. I must say I am taken with her. We still need a good picture together. Soon.

Party Hardly

Not a big fan of our little party on Friday night , but at least Johnnie had a good time. I eventually had a good time, I was just busy trying to prevent nuclear holocaust from consuming the "revilers".
Let me just take a moment here to say a few words about Carl Reid.
You may know him as "Big Black", I know him as sweet puddin'. Carl is my lifemate in geek slavery. It Is Carl who has held my hand through the rigors of 2 separate San Diego comic cons. Carl who has roomed with me at the infamous Pickwick hotel, in beautiful downtown San Diego. Days that sing sweetly in my memory and always will because Carl was there to ensure that nothing could go wrong.
Carl Stepped up again yesterday big time. Not only did he help regulate the party fools and provide cab service for those without a ride home, He also purchased for me The official STREET FIGHTER 15th ANNIVERSARY EDITION ARCADE STICK! Yes, I am yelling. Man I was giddy, hell I still am. Only Carl could have found a geeky gift that not only suits me to a tee, but that I don't already own 2 of!!!! I heart Carl.

That's right, Girlfriend.
Ha. So there. Man I am spoiled. Those of you who know me, well you already know this but let me just reiterate, I am SPOILED! So, dinner date last night, her place. She has a blanket on the floor and the whole spread set out picnic style for us. Already I was sold. Anyone who goes to that kind of effort in presentation gets my total respect. I am the guy with the themed bathrooms let us not forget. She baked bread, really, really good bread. Tortalini, salad, and chocolate dipped strawberries. My head is still spinning. This girl is really incredible. To top it all off she was actually nervous wondering if I would enjoy it. How adorable is that? Well, I loved it all. It was so good guys you have no idea. Totally vegan meal and I loved it. Yes that's right, Mr. Triple Cheeseburger actually found himself thrilled by a meatless meal. Anything is possible I guess.
I am so stupid happy right now.
I can't believe the weather we are having.
