Do you know the way?

I'm back from my trip to San Jose. It was awesome. Mostly because I got to spend some time with Anne, but I really had a great time there. Tue. We met up with Anne's friends An and Gwen, (they are super cool and the force is strong with them) and headed out to wine country. Man, it is beautiful out there. I honestly had to stop and take it all in for a minute, the beauty of those vineyards can overtake you. So we tasted some delicious wine, and some stuff that I would place more soundly in the "ass juice" category. Me not being much of a drinker, I really didn't drink that much but the stuff that tastes most like kool-aid is what I'm all about. We had a really cool cheese and bread picnic at the sattui vineyard. The weather was perfect. I feel like I was given a free sample of heaven on Tuesday. An was kind enough to drive us home so Anne and I got to chill in the back seat of the go go gadget protege. We played rock paper scissors and twenty questions all the way home. Good times.

So, yea I'm super duper in love.

Oh, so maybe you guys remember me posting some info about my weight bout a month ago, well... I made it down to 229.5lbs last week. Now, please understand that I ate at bucca de bepo last night so there's no way I haven't gained some but still the progress is real and the exercise is going well. I am aiming for under 200 maybe round October. Rock and roll.

Class is going well
Scriptless is going well
The new S.E.T. project is just getting started... more on that soon
the musical is still banging its way out of my head.
must sleep

Blog Blog Blog.....

Whoop Whoop! What's the haps my peoples? I am in quite the good mood. As you know I fly out Monday to see Anne and that's pretty much making this week fly by. Let me just remind all of you how incredible Anne is. She is the funniest girl I have ever known, as well as the most mind-blowingly self assured and grounded individual. She's got character and class, kindness and charm and man can she cook! She kicks my ass into gear and has already profoundly affected my wardrobe. She is a true friend. She is all potential and no bullshit. She loves me, I love her. She is awesome. Yes, even better than STAR WARS.

Now I have to rant about the second love of my life...STAR WARS.

Ok. This just hit me like a ton of bricks yesterday. I hope it comes as no SPOILER to any of you that Obi-Wan takes the baby Luke and Leia away to safety after their birth. Leia goes to Alderon to live with Jimmi Smits and Luke goes back to Tatoine to live with his step uncle. Now, Leia assumed the last name of her adoptive papa and became an Organa, however Luke did not become a Lars as logic might dictate, no he still went by Skywalker! WTF?? Are they trying to advertise to the Empire just where to find the son of Anakin Skywalker? Are we to assume perhaps that the name Skywalker is much like Smith or Jones in our galaxy? Did Obi-Wan really allow the child to keep such an unfortunate last name? Skywalker=Jedi holocaust!! I'm just confused. I suppose I can justify it in fanboy logic because if Anakin is assumed dead then....No wait that's not even right cause Obi knows Anakin is Vader, at least by New Hope time. No, It's the first of several gaping holes in continuity that Lucas is forcing us to deal with! Man, Star Trek has had the market cornered on all the crap continuity problems, now there is even less difference between the franchises. Boo.

Darth Vader Is On His Way

Just a few more weeks till Episode Three! I am excited, against my better judgment. Please George, don't hurt us too bad. I picked up the new Lego Star Wars game for X-BOX. Oh man is it the coolest thing ever! I love the Lego aesthetic anyway and now being able to run these tiny brick bros around on the screen, well it's pretty close to perfect. This game is one of those games that remind me why I love to play video games in the first place. Speaking of loosing yourself in a piece of art, I'm reading the new Batman/Superman trade and it is fantastic. As some of you may know I was raised on Marvel and there is no substitute for Spider Man, however, I do appreciate some of the titles from DC, most notably Preacher from the Virtigo line. Bats and Supes together is cool.

So if I did not mention it already, The Clone Wars Animated series DVD is the best piece of star wars film in the last 15 years. I think if Lucas continues to loosen his grip on the franchise, there is hope for some real inventive stuff in the future.

Slowly I have been putting my resume together. It's not all that easy since I've been a space alien professionally for nearly 8 years. Here is my request. What field do you, my friends see me in in the future? Assume that further education may be required and ask yourself where would Paul be an asset to a company? Let me know what you think.

Skilz is gallivanting in Europe. He returns on the 17th, just in time to drop me off at the airport on the 18th!

I finally get to see Anne next week. I'm more than a little excited!! That girl makes me smile.

May the force be with you

What a Week!

I made it! I haven't been this stressed out in some time let me tell ya. Got done with the second city fill in time this weekend. Finally had a great audience on our last show on Saturday night. My first new class began yesterday and these are some incredibly talented people that I have here. It is a group of fourteen so kind of large but it is exciting to see so many solid performers in one group, should be fun.

So I am finally relaxing here on a Monday afternoon. Got my workout on! The progress continues. Yesterday morning I weighed in at 238lbs.!! I am scared to check again today for fear of a backstep but if memory serves that's about 9 pounds off since last month! Yea me!

Man alive do I need a PSP! I am seriously considering selling a huge chunk of games just to get one of those gems. Skilz has his hooked up with tons of mp3 files already which is awesome. He can plug it right into his car stereo and there ya go , instant I-pod no apple involved. Speaking of Stereos, BIG UP'S to my boys JEFF and DARREN for hooking up my car with a new dash component and speakers. They got me the system for my birthday and were finally able to install it this week. Even though only the rear channel is in place right now, she sounds like a million bucks, no more tape adapter and portable CD player drama. Thank You Guys!!

More soon
